| 7 | Use of night wares of various groups of individuals, impact of climate on dress habits etc. |
| 8 | Use of apron, caps etc., types of caps to be used in various occasions etc. |
| 9 | Basic knowledge for developing dressmaking skills. |
| 10 | Nature and use of different equipment required for dressmaking. |
| 11 | Characteristics of cloth materials to be used for making different dress. |
| 12 | Measurement techniques to be followed for making dresses |

| Practical training including different kinds of machine stitching, Embroidery work, handwork etc. will be given on the following: |
| 1 | Stitching in ordinary sewing machines. |
| 2 | Embroidery stitching. |
| 3 | Inter lock techniques. |
| 4 | Electric sewing machine stitching. |
| 5 | Stitching practice in fashion makers. |
| 6 | All kinds of handstitching work. |
| 7 | Practical stitching experience in ladies and kids wear, night wear, curtains undergarments, uniforms, jeans etc. |
| 8 | Model cutting, drawing slapping colour combination etc. will be given in designing following items:
a. Kids wear, b. Gent’s wear, c. Ladies dresses, d. Uniforms, f. Night wears, g. Aprons, e. Curtains, table cloth etc. |
